The Enlightened

On their journey towards the final goal, A whole list of names appears in front of us, I'll try to write from what I understand about a few these beautiful people, Eventhough the quest began along with the birth of mankind, but before I mention about anything, I'd mention about the most beautiful incident that ever happend in existence, It's the conversation between Lord Shiva & Parvathi, The conversation begins with Parvathi asking Shiva about the wonders of this existence thru a simple question & Shiva answers thru techniques of meditation to arrive at the answer, 112 techniques in total covering every possible methods known to man, The reason for mentioning this is that anything we discuss about meditation we tend to refer to one or more of these techniques, directly or indirectly.

What is Enlightenment?

Enlightenment - The last stage of evolution, Absolute purity or Complete dissolution of existence of the self, Complete awakening of the self, Nirvana, Salvation or whatsoever we may prefer to name it, It is towards this all the great souls in the past or present tried to reach for, Buddha, Mahavira, Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Gurdjiff etc, But ultimately we all are moving towards the same destiny, Knowingly or unknowingly, Willingly or un-willingly.
But these are the people who managed to bypass the normal route of natural evolution & reached the goal through their own methods found thru ages of research,struggle & renunciation.
I dedicate this forum to the countless sages & saints who strieved towards this ultimate destiny of all existence.
I'll try to write about as many people & techniques as possible in this blog of mine.
I only hope this'll motivate all those who visit this forum to take the right step & live the right path.
